History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He worked as a nervous Shepherd and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Ahlyssa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
