History: Findex hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by her family

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: She is lean but muscular and is dressed in an above average manner. She wears a broad hat to cover her moderate length chestnut hair. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Shepherd profession.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Guard arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Sumnes was born the youngest of three triplets. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Carpenter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Outside of the suit she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She wears a colorful flower in her white hair. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Fletcher father left her crippled. She has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears dull black sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed shield, just in case. His blue hair, when down, is lengthy. His silver eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: Valafar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Mason kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and carries bastard swords. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sellsword profession.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Morkral grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Morkral. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shepherd.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
