History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She is portly but not overly obese. Her hair is golden and very short. Her half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Paela embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Paela and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Ulfgar was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Flame hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her childhood dream was to be a Bellfounder, but she was a colossal failure. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Uadjit was born with her father's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker white hat.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Eran was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Carlin grew up listening to her father's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
