He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sybil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Gunter hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Blossom is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gifted student she started as a Mercenary, but she got bored and became a Herbalist. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again.
