Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. A true patriot, Hatae would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hatae fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Donaar was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and many drow want him driven away

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is renowned for her bright tan dresses and hats. Her black hair is still thick. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At some point she was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
