History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born into a rich family. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Shadow has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born in the north to a Interpreter, Emerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She worked as a nervous Butcher and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Guard. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She became a Guard soon after.
