History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Drifting reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Gynk lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Stableman, and she later adopted a second son.

Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Smoking will drive conversation. Smoking enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
