History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
