She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bowyer. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to reunite with his absent father

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Richard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barrister for the past few years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is a Lycanthrope in disguise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
