However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. Tharivol was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mayor. He struck the Mayor job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Gardener and occasionally as a mercenary.
