Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 32. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Cook arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now mingles about in high society.

From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Naal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
