Description: This malnourished man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. His blue crest is singed and shortened. He has a dull look in his gold eyes.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.
History: Dazzazn was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: She stands about 6'2" and wears bulky black painted plate armor. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her blue crest is unkempt and raggedy. She has gleaming, smiling red eyes.
Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has no hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oppleby grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her hammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. Her yellow fur is knotted and matted. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines yellow.
Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with her Fortune-teller father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents and is in decent physical shape. Her crest, while still mostly bronze, has prominent grey streaks. Her gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. The war was a terrible time for her, and Chassath does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Chassath has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Shax is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Shax was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Mercenary, and she later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Naill was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well
