The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alice grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
