History: Gifted from a young age, Nimble studied abroad. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Sarai was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Architect. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Symma was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Matilda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Matilda decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently the stress of being a Sage has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
