History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Katherine was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Unemployed. She bought a kukri and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
