History: Born in the north to a Baker, Mugrunden learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by her family.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Findex was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
