History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: An older woman who is dressed in earthy colors with a yellow and brown handkerchief worn on her right side, she is not a threatening figure. Her head has been shaved. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Elysande never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small tan clips. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. Being a Map Maker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Painter who has hired him part-time. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to settle down with his crush

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her tied-back hair is chestnut. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Morana embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Morana learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Flak was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This fat western woman has a bulbous nose and wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her brown hair is heavily combed to the right. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anne fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.
