She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Volen was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Fragrant was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Fragrant's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
