History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
