Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aust grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Seraphina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born in the south to a Ruler, Tordek learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in the west. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is unsatisfied with her job

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a great chef.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.
