History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Actor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bidreked was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Curran embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Curran enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Kilvar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Kilvar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Kilvar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Gilkass was taken on many hunting expeditions. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
