History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Description: This woman dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a yellow coat with brown slacks. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nella grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nella. After a long history of fighting, Nella and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He bought a trident and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Cairn was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mortician. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Kelter hails from a village terrorized by giants. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Kelter was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Nala learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bather. She struck the Bather job and began her own company from there.
