Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Tordek was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has moderate length beige fur. His eyes are amber.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cartwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.
Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Helen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Helen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Helen. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Eridred lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born to a Servant, her father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
