Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman and is in decent physical shape. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He has a dull look in his red eyes.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Ekemon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has worked as a Engraver like his mother before him.
Motivation: Expand his business; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nora embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Bolhild enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Bolhild hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She bought a morningstar and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Jarana was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Adrik was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
