History: Daar hails from a village terrorized by giants. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep
