Through the years after Hadarai was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hadarai's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hadarai and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
