History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
