Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Sammal studied abroad. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sammal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Ethereal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She tends to wear a red poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, and carries lances. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Lavinia's homeland. Lavinia decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is a Cartwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Vanuath was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lavinia studied abroad. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
