During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has worked as a Barkeep like her father before her.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jo is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: Edge hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Edge alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Travok fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
