Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born into a rich family. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: To be a Sage again; and balancing his hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Garl was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
