History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Norkruuth took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Berrian will drive conversation. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Farideh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
