History: He comes from a rich northern family. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Raymond began to lead the lost caravan. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
