His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Tûmhom was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Murook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: Hatae was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
