History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A gifted student she started as a Architect, but she got bored and became a Bowyer. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She got into the Cartwright business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Map Maker, but she got bored and became a Cartwright. History: Gargax lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
