His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
