She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shava was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Gennal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with her Bellfounder father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Ortegar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
