History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. He has no hair. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Qualen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was a Mercenary, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shepherd business.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her feathered tan hat.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
