Description: Standing 4'9", this man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Thervan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Seven fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Valanthe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Phann enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Phann has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he seems to be bored by most things
