History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Hadwisa was born with her mother's beautiful face. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Raer learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Raer never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Through the years after Shax was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shax's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Purban has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and gnomish compassion

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ridaro grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). Her addictions have taken their toll on her wallet, and she has found herself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she has a crush on the local fortune-teller
