History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and to prove her worth to the world

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and she is content

The war was a terrible time for him, and Stannor does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Stannor was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
