History: Born in the west to a Sellsword, Paelias learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Balam hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Balam was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. After coming to the age of reason, Balam took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Knight born in the past three hundred years. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Shágflak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Shágflak liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
