Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her youth she was a Stableman, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. History: Valafar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
