History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
