History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He keeps his long rusty crest kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are likewise red.
Personality: Direcris speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Direcris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his music dream.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He was born in a small mountains village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He sports green clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He has wavy chestnut hair. His eyes are white and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Thamuz wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Nykkan hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She hates drow. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born in the south. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Malquis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion; and to reunite with her old friends
