History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a blue vest and prefers tan and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He struck the Brewer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Locksmith again; and balancing his hectic life and new brewer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired her part-time. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cumpen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Gardain was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact.
