History: Hadwisa was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Hadwisa never married again. History: Born in the east to a Detective, Peren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oppleby's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Ronobe has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
