History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valanthe embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Valanthe never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.
