Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: This man stands a little under 2'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bastard sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His tied-back hair is brown. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: Ortegar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ortegar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She got into the Locksmith business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Locksmith for hire.

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sheggen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Nutae is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Nutae hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miller and was forced into it by his family.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she feels threatened by others

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.
