History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Pirithin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ethereal grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
