History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Tyna was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Tyna's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bella grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Miller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Roofer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Roofer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Armorer and found it very stressful. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Veit hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His childhood dream was to be a Carpenter, but he was a colossal failure. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Doctor. She wears a top hat to hide her balding. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mardnab grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mardnab. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
